About JCPenney Portraits
JCPenney Portraits is a popular photography studio known for capturing special moments with great care and quality. Many customers appreciate the friendly and patient staff, especially photographers who excel at working with children and infants. One photographer, praised for being sweet and understanding, goes above and beyond by getting on the floor to take the best shots, making the experience enjoyable despite little ones' reluctance. Customers often mention the good quality of photos and the affordability of packages, with some noting that prices can be higher compared to other options like Walmart prints. The staff's energy is generally positive, creating a welcoming atmosphere even during busy or quick appointment slots. However, some reviewers experienced issues such as unhelpful phone service and limited photo options without purchasing full albums. Despite these minor drawbacks, many customers leave satisfied with their photos and the overall experience, frequently requesting the same photographer for future sessions. Overall, JCPenney Portraits is seen as a reliable place to get beautiful photos with friendly staff, though some find the pricing a bit high or the process a little rushed.
My go to place! I’ve been going since my daughter was 1 I just recently went to get my daughter’s 3 year pictures and Ashley was our photographer she did AMAZING!!! I have never seen someone so good with kids in photography. I’ve had 3 different photographers at this location but Ashley was the sweetest most patient with my toddler she does wonders with that camera! I will be requesting her from here on out! Thank you Ashley for these beautiful photos and also for helping me find a good price for everything I ordered!!
Our photos came out beautiful and the energy of the staff was amazing, we took them on Christmas Eve, the only disappointment was we couldn't get more then 3 photos without having to purchase the whole photo album and the time slot starts quickly a little too quick, once you're there it starts while picking your background and everything else, but for our first time using this place it was great for it's purpose.
Lady who answered the phone... rude and dismissive. Guy who was there when we showed up... clueless but courteous. He was from another location. Gentleman couldn't work the computer to save his life, but he was very nice and attentive during the photo shoot. Very entertaining. He made the experience very nice. The missing star was for the rude and dismissive rep who answered the phone. Other than that, pictures were nice..... but overpriced. We just bought the digital package $129.99 with a "coupon" (originally $169.99).... only to see it sold on their website for $99. Walmart prints are said to be better quality and definitely more affordable. I have confirmed this.
