They were very unprofessional, unorganized, and hostile towards the family of a wonderful man. They directed family to a small room and later we hear them yelling at the family. During the service they went on yelling at all of us. I have never seen anything so disrespectful. We were all confused on what was going on, if to stay in our seats or to view our friends body. I witness them allow a row to walk out and then try to deny the brothers from exiting with the mom. I felt so heartbroken to watch such a great family be treated this way. But that wasn't it, during the confusion when the row of brothers finally have to almost push themselves out to get to their mom, the rest of the family went out too. This tight nit family was then denied access to the viewing of there loved one. This man impacted the world.. This man represented so much to us as a friend and coworker, I can't imagine the heartache of his family members and to watch and listen to them beg and plea to enter..heartbreaking. Then the audacity of these old women yhat work there to yell at this family is sickening and downright disturbing. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Sickening. There was a reason he planned his own funeral that included the brother and preacher and friend. Horrible that you couldn't uphold what he wanted and deserved. Horrible memories to send this hero home to.

Alana and staff are amazing, and ever so kind and compassionate during difficult times of sorrow. This is far more than an exceptional business, for Alana this is her ministry and every aspect of her dedication to serve others shows. I highly recommend Alana and her staff, when you need them. When my mother passed away, Alana, Deb and their crew were with us every step of the way. The funeral was very nice and Mother looked very pretty. The new building is beautiful and there’s even a fellowship hall to have the dinner at. I recommend Winegeart Funeral Home to anyone and everyone who has need. I was so afraid, when I had to pick the funeral home, that I was going to pick the wrong one and regret it forever. I 100% recommend Winegeart Funeral Home.Alana did a beautiful job with my Son-in-laws funeral. He looked amazing! Alana made sure that everything that was important to us and everything we wanted and needed in that moment happened, no matter how much time she had to put into it. She was very patient with us, even through us changing our minds several times. Alana, as well as everyone else there, went above and beyond to give us everything we asked for and help in any way they could.

My mother passed away last week in the middle of a winter storm that impacted all of Texas. I'm so thankful for everything Alana Winegeart did for my mother, for me, and for the folks who attended her funeral. Alana worked with me via phone over several days since I'm 500 miles away. She comforted and supported me. The funeral and graveside services were beautiful and went off without a hitch. I'll always think of Alana with fondness and gratitude.
