I’ve always been a natural faced, minimal makeup kind of girl. She listened to my vision with care and created the most TIMELESS look for such an important milestone. The makeup look in the photos look like they could’ve been taken yesterday.13, I repeat, 13 years later I could think of no one else I would have wanted anyone but Alex to professionally do my makeup for another milestone-a photoshoot commemorating my upcoming 40th birthday. “I had a wedding makeup and hair trial appointment for my engagement photos scheduled with Sara and Maria. They were beyond accommodating and made the process as smooth as possible despite some major hiccups from my photographer (not Khalil and Co) moving up our photography session by 2 hours at the very last minute.

I was stressed and in tears but the girls helped me quickly pivot to similar styles to what I wanted that could be done faster with the new time constraint. Keep in mind they were also putting in a full set of extensions that day too!!! The quality of work they did in the fast turn around time was astounding!

“After more than a year of coming to Jeannine religiously, I figured it was time to leave a review. First off, I am the pickiest person when it comes to hair color. I've admittedly gone to many stylists that didn't make me 100% happy, and it was difficult to find one that did an absolutely amazing job. That's frustrating when you're paying a lot for a service.

I found Jeannine, came to her adorable and comfy and fun salon, and felt immediately at home there... it's like a cozy group of friends every time I'm there. It's an awesome vibe. Very friendly, positive, and inclusive.

Every one of her assistants has been great and I always get the best service and an outstanding blow-out. And I never ever have to explain what I want-- Jeannine just KNOWS what to do. She always nails it. Always. I've never once had a complaint or an issue or not been 100% happy with my color. She's absolutely an amazing, brilliant hairstylist/ colorist/ etc. I'm a blonde (with grays) and blondes can be difficult to get right but she always does. You get what you pay for when it comes to hair color- she's not the cheapest. But she's worth it. I have complete trust in her. That's been hard to find, for me at least, here in San Antonio. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had been to her pretty consistently so I could be confident in my review. Also the products they use are top-notch Oribe products that smell amazing! You can't go wrong with any of the stylists at this salon.“

“I had my lashes and makeup done before my granddaughter's graduation, and my hair stylist recommended Evangeline. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment from my phone, requesting lash & makeup services, as well as help going through my existing makeup, tossing what wasn't good, and getting Evangeline's recommendations for quality makeup at affordable prices that she'd recommend. She told me to toss it all in a tote and bring to her and she quickly went thru, telling me exactly why it was right (or wrong) for my skin type and coloring. She is truly a gifted professional, down-to-earth, creative with ideas but not pushy or 'one-method-fits-everybody'. She's also a friendly, knowledgeable person who made the experience positive. I made a list of her recommendations, have been following them daily, and already see a big improvement in my skin (less wrinkles, brown spots, more natural looking skin, smaller pores, fresher looking skin).
