We took out baby there not knowing what was wrong, they tested her for parvo to rule it out even though she was vaccinated, and she ended up positive. They told us she would be there about 4 days, but not even 48 hours later she was ready to come home!! They took great care of her and the staff was amazing! Would definitely go back should I ever need to!

Went in with my shitzu a possibly disease and his drunk walking and vomiting and they continued to make us wait 6 hours and counting WE LEFT!!!!!
NEVER COME HERE!!! There was a huge bulldog bleeding all over the floor for more than an hour and it took them 3 hours to bandage him up.
Looked like there was ONE doctor and the girls working looked completely lost.
Better business bureau will be called! This is HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Came here after my male cat was having issues with constipation, urination and teary eyes. Dr. Sable Murry was amazing she took care of him overnight and he's doing so much better currently. This is the veterinary to go if you're having an emergency. Highly recommended.

As a Paramedic, this was a first of its kind call(pawtient) after the recent snow event we received a 911 call from a elderly woman for a unknown medical issue. Turns out it was for her Service Animal, who is a Aussie, having Gastrotestinal issues with a difficult being ambulatory. Being 68 miles from Odessa and not knowing much about vet medicine we made contact with West Texas Emergency Animal Hospital and spoke to Dr. Murray. I provided her the details, of the dogs symptoms/ issues. She was very helpful in advising to where to find femoral artery on the dog over the phone to locate a pulse and heart rate. That the dog should be OK thru the night but that it needs to be seen by her vet in the morning. The Beautiful pup was very friendly, loving she gave up plenty of licks while we attempted to render care to our abilities. We provided her a Abdominal massage with warm compresses to help her relax before we left. Thank you for the education over the phone to help make our patients owner feel more at ease for the night. 🙂🙃

Friday, January 23rd, I took my 8-month-old puppy in at about 11 PM. She was lethargic and not feeling well. I filled out the paperwork, and everything seemed to be going well. I met with the vet. Nice guy, seemed knowledgeable — but this is where it kind of fell apart.
He examined my puppy and didn’t think there was anything wrong, even though her symptoms were vomiting, not eating, and lethargic — basically all the symptoms of parvo. They recommended a blood test. I agreed, and when the blood test came back, he said all was normal. There was one part that was a little high, but not unusual. He said she might be going into heat, gave my dog a shot for nausea, and said she would be fine.
When I got done in the room with the vet, I went out to pay, and there was a police officer standing there waiting. I found it odd, but as soon as I got my bank card out to pay, he said, “Well, I guess I can go now.” My bank card, for some reason, did not work, but I had cash on me and was able to pay the bill with no problem.
This is why I’ll never recommend or go back. I guess they were more concerned with me not paying than the health of my puppy.
My puppy did not eat throughout the weekend. We took her to our normal vet this morning, and she was diagnosed with parvo. She is now starting to act like herself again.
I feel this place is completely a fraud, and if you care about your pet, go anywhere else.

Very pleased with the care of the staff and Dr Akers. They took very good care of my fur baby. The communication was always there, they walked us through the process and answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this vet to others.

I own a Rottweiler that's professionaly trained and very well mannered. No one in Odessa wanted to take us in for an urgent checkup on a mass-lump on his right neck area that developed in 3 days. This Veterinarian clinic said, yes, please bring him in ASAP and we'll get him checked out. Dr. Kim saw my boy and thinks it might be cancer. I pray to GOD-YHWH that he is wrong and the studies come back negative. The staff was so helpful, accommodating and empathetic. My experience was overwhelmingly good and beyond what I expected. The staff definitely shows a tremendous amount of care!!!
