The karts were really fast, and the track layout was very technical. However, the reliability of the karts were not so great. On my first run, my right front tyre blew out. I didn’t crash or anything, but I did have to retire from that session. They do give a refunded race if that happens though. Secondly, the karts performance was not constant between each of them. Not horrible, but noticeable. Still a great place to go too. They even sometimes have real cars racing on one of their circuits!

We had an amazing time at the track. My son with his friends did a 5 race special for his BD party. The track itself as well as the guest building is meticulous and you can get yourself sodas and some snacks from some vending machines. Jessica was our host when we arrived. We ran into a bit of a race counting issue, to where the boys were sure they did 4 races toghether and the system showed each of them with different race counts. So they couldnt have gone on their last race together if it wasn't for Jessica deciding in favor of the kids. This is what I call customer first. We come again and wish the team a happy 2024.

Registration was easy and the process was really simple. My only suggestion would be to provide info about track courtesy. I was rammed twice on my last run. Otherwise we had a blast

From Speedsportz Racing Park

Speedsportz Racing Park is the only Houston-area high-speed, outdoor karting complex offering rental karts, driving courses and special events. Located just north of Houston, we race rain or shine. Minimum age is 12 years old and you must be at least 58 inches tall to race these karts that run at speeds up to 45 MPH. Games and an air conditioned viewing area are available for those who are waiting their turn or just want to watch the action. Corporate, group, team building events & social parties are welcome.
