I got the mani pedi today. The price was a little too high for a mani pedi. There was no massage with the mani pedi. I will say the lady who gave me my mani pedi was great.

I came in for my swedish massage today and loved it! Crystal did an amazing job, so amazing that I struggled to want to leave, just feeing completely relieved of all stress!

Folks…do yourself a favor and go to The Retreat and Day Spa in New Braunfels. It’s the nicest thing you can do for yourself EVER. There’s a great assortment of services available by people who really know what they are doing and make you feel like Royalty while they do it. Lovely amenities, spotlessly clean, a happy environment…and you come out feeling good about life when you leave! (I especially recommend the Seasonal Pedicure - a friend favors the massage) It’s so worth the drive from San Antonio to New Braunfels!! THE RETREAT AND DAYSPA in New BRAUNFELS! Get out there and see what The Best is like!,!

BOTCHED TOENAILS!! It is unfortunate that the service has completely changed since my last visit 3 years ago. I was a frequent customer along with my daughters, and I would always look forward to coming to this place for some relaxation as a busy Mother, but I will not ever come here again! I would rather save my money and go to a regular nail salon that actually does a better job for a lot less. I am very disappointed, especially celebrating one of my milestone birthdays! To have my toenails cut too short and one uneven and then to not fix it after I told the girl it seems to be CROOKED, she said it was me that saw my nail crooked!!!⁉️??. I was not the only one who noticed my nail was crooked. I feel like I just completely wasted my time for two rushed pedicures. Paid for a service that was not done the way it was advertised! And being charge this amount was just wrong! They over charged my card and did not approve of these charges! Especially for bad service!
To The Retreat: Thank you for the prior memories of what good service meant and what your name actually use to represent.
MY ADVICE to NEW Clients: Save time, save your money, go to a regular nail salon or choose another day spa. Or get ripped off and unauthorized charges to your account.
Apparently I am not the only one they have done this to.

I have been coming to the retreat as my spa of choice for a couple of years now and have never had a bad service. I especially love working with Chase for massage services; he is friendly, professional, and uses just the right amount of pressure. I highly recommend Chase and the Retreat Day Spa!

This was my first time at The Retreat and it was a wonderful experience. I received a deep tissue massage from Ashly and she was incredible. She was polite, kind, and customized the massage to my needs. I look forward to coming back!
