Great experience! I hadn't had a professional haircut in years. Kylie helped me figure out what I wanted. I keep my hair very natural, so it was very nice to just have a simple haircut and wash. We had a nice conversation and I would definitely go back and schedule with her in the future!

Been going here for 10 yrs. My hair is fine but thick and Lauren is very delicate about her thinning process. Even after moving around the last 7 yrs I still travel far and wide to her. She’s very passionate about her work and very knowledgeable on complicated hair as knowledge about the area if you’re ever looking to explore NB or Gruene. She now has multiple locations. If you had a bad hair job (the fixx) or just need an out of town cut or somewhere new that’s local this is your place.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Peyton! Every time I sit in her chair I know I’m in the best hands. She has an incredible eye for color and always gives me the perfect shade to compliment my features. Her haircuts are just as amazing- she listens to exactly what I want and somehow makes it better than I imagined. Beyond her talent, she is so sweet, welcoming, and fun to chat with making every appointment such a treat. I always leave her chair feeling absolutely gorgeous and confident!

I recently visited The Fixx on Walnut for a $56 men’s haircut for my teenager and had a disappointing experience at the front desk. I paid in cash and was given only $20 bills for change, leaving me in an awkward position to either overtip or scramble to break a $20 elsewhere. The front desk attendant seemed fully aware of this, which made the situation feel presumptuous, as if I was being nudged into leaving a 37% tip.
While I believe in rewarding good service, tipping should be a choice, not something implied by how the change is given. I expected a more considerate approach, like offering smaller bills to provide flexibility. It’s a small detail, but it made the experience feel less welcoming. I hope the salon reconsiders how they handle these situations in the future.
The stylist did a fantastic job and I would recommend Peyton to anyone who is looking for a stylist who is knowledgeable on products and trends! Thank you.

Best hair appointment ever! Lauren was so patient and kind with all my questions. I accidentally made a hair cut appointment only but Lauren fit me into her schedule to accommodate me for a color too. I loved her and her amazing staff. They all went over and beyond to make my day at the salon feel like a pamper day. I usually don’t look forward to days at the salon as my hair is thick and a lot of work but definitely can’t wait to return. Glad I found my way back to the Fixx
