David was amazing with my 14-month old Teddy Roosevelt, Belle. We both needed training on how to help her behave with guests in our home. In just three sessions and homework, Belle now is relaxed when we have guests, making us both happy.

David has been a great trainer for my red heeler, Alice. He gave her a solid start with basic commands and was always open to answering questions. Three years later, we still pop in occasionally for a group class to brush up on skills. I would totally recommend David Wagner and Guterhund to anyone looking for a good dog trainer.

David was absolutely wonderful with our dogs Sherlock and Ranger. He was patient and worked with our schedule. After using the tricks he taught us in our lessons, our dogs are much easier to walk and much more well behaved. He even managed to get our dog to get in and out of our truck which was one of the biggest hurdles we had. My husband and I would highly recommend David and his training sessions!

We are a family owned business serving New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. We offer quality K9 training at an affordable price. Lessons are conducted in-home and/or a local park, depending on your goals and where your dog is at in the training process. We work with all breeds and training can begin as early as 12 weeks old.
