Booked a couples massage here for Valentine's Day — my first massage in over 30 years. Joe worked on me, Barb worked on my wife, and we both walked out completely relaxed. Still feeling it two days later.
Get the deep tissue if you want it done right. Barb is the owner and an absolute sweetheart — you can tell she genuinely cares about the experience, not just the transaction.
We drove in from Fort Worth and it was well worth it. Gruene itself is a great little stop too — historic Gruene Hall (Texas's oldest dance hall) is right nearby, so easy to make a day of it.
