The office combines traditional medicine with functional medicine strategies to help patients achieve peak wellness. The staff is polite, helpful, patient, and caring. They offer on-site lab work and IV therapy, and the providers are knowledgeable and empathetic. Patients appreciate the time taken to explain lab results, hormone changes, and treatment options in an easy-to-understand way. The office is well-organized, and staff members are efficient in ordering medications, refills, and referrals. Many patients have reported significant improvement in their health after visiting Blue Agave Functional Medicine, and they highly recommend the office to others. The facility has a variety of testing applications, and the nurses are capable and sweet. They do go over all your tests. Things that were low at my PCP’s office were never mentioned to me. They work on those that are low, but I thought they would get to the root of the problem. Right now, that does not seem to be the case.
Visit was great, very efficient and appreciated the attentiveness. My only small complaint was that my PA said I would get a call following my bloodwork from his the next week and I did not. Going to have to call myself now to get update and new prescriptions.
I started seeing Blue Agave Functional Medicine after losing my longtime GYN and needing help with menopause symptoms. NP Gilda has been incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. She takes the time to explain lab results, hormone changes, and treatment options in a way that is easy to understand, and I have learned more about my health in two visits than I did in years of appointments elsewhere.
