I brought my senior dog, Rocket, in because he has stopped eating and is having difficulty getting up to move around comfortably. I got an appointment with Dr. Vickery who had never met Rocket before. We discussed his current state and his future along with the vet tech, Kaitlin. It was an emotional discussion as we decided on his end of life plan of care.
The tenderness, humanity and love that I experienced from these two ladies was just what I needed in this difficult time deciding Rocket's life plans. Though I wish I didn't have to take my pets to the vet, Animal Medical Center of New Braunfuls is the place to go. I especially want to talk about one person in particular. Her name is Jazz. I believe she is a medical assistant. She comes out smiling, welcoming you and your pet and if you've been there at least once before she pretty much remembers who you are. She is always gentle and caring with our pets, a major plus. Jazz explains everything that is going to be done and makes sure we are on board. Jazz is a very friendly and happy person and I just want to say she is very much appreciated. I am always happy when she is the one that comes to greeet us.
