The Family Care Center Mt. Pleasant offers convenient and compassionate healthcare services to patients. Located on the south side of town, the center has extended hours, including Saturdays, and accepts most insurances, Medicaid, Medicare, and worker's compensation. Patients praise the clinic's great hospitality, timely service, and excellent healthcare. The physicians and staff are friendly, patient, and use humor to keep patients calm. While wait times may vary, the doctors are worth the wait. The center is a reliable resource for patients, especially on weekends, and is appreciated for its kind and caring atmosphere.
I had been running a fever for the last three days and had no other symptoms. I have two doctors appointments this week and needed to find out quickly why I had a temperature. Today is Sunday. The young lady that checked me in was friendly and efficient and I was seen actually before my scheduled appointment. The nurse that took my vitals and information was a true ray of sunshine and answered all of my questions. She was such a joy to be around. I was sent to the lab and the sweet nurse that drew blood was as easy on me as I have ever had. I don't do needles! My experience has been great ....they have stayed in contact with me with multiple health issues that I'm experiencing. Even being respectful enough to apologize for FIVE minutes late with me getting a room for my evaluation while bringing me water. Ashley Veasly and the entire staff have been wonderful. My family thanks you.
