We have brought our dog/dogs here for the past 6 years. Sadly we are leaving. After Dr Brown left we have seen a huge price increase in service and procedures, more than just regular inflation. We brought our new puppy in to be fixed this past spring (We even had the City of Midland $100 voucher) and the total cost ended up being a little over $800. Our other dog we had brought in 5 years before for the same procedure was only around $325. Both dogs were the same breed and both were females. When asked about the difference we were told it was because of inflation and that they had been bought by a cooperation and were now adjusting fees. After talking with other pet owners who had recently had their dogs fixed at other places they didn't have to pay anywhere near what we did. Shortly after that our older dog had blood in the stool and I brought in a stool sample for them to send off for testing of parasites/worms etc. This was in June. My dog had last been seen in March for her yearly apt and shoots. They refused to test her stool or see her that day because they had all new vets so she would now be a new patient and needed a new patient appointment which came of course with an extra fee. We will no longer be going there. Obviously, pets don't come first, money does.
