The people complaining don’t understand how this business works. Let me say things the business would be committing PR suicide by saying.
If you don’t want to do it yourself you pay premium for an established business to come and take care of it while guaranteeing the quality.
If you don’t want to do it yourself and you ask somebody to perform a service, understand you are not the only person who has done so. You are not special and you are absolutely not first in line in a city of almost 200,000 people.
You are not special to anybody besides your family. If you want special treatment you’d better pray your nephew is a plumber.
That being said these people are great. They come to look at the problem ASAP and give a rough estimate. If you want the work you get put in line and they come as soon as they can, and finish the job in a timely manner even if it takes a couple days. Last year they fixed a busted pipe under my slab, today we are calling to have them check a clogged shower. And I will pay them to do the work and I will wait until they have time to do it.
Y’all out here acting like a business can do without your money so they disrespecting you. Naah you are just entitled. This business is just fine. Five stars for doing exactly what I expected y'all to do.

I called to see about them changing out a water heater at my rental. They wanted to change me over $1200 to swap it out. Keep in mind i have the new water heater. Absolutely insane to charge that much. It's a couple hours worth of work at the most.

Called about my pilot light for my water heater. Charged me 190 for diagnostic and restart my pilot light just for it to go back out in 2 hours. Called them back but they where already closed and are closed on the weekend. Called Monday and a tech came out and said they had to order the part. Part came in and was the wrong part. So far it was 2 weeks without hot water. After almost a month they got the right part and charged 700 for the part and install. However researching the assembly the most I saw was 120 so they upcharged the crap out of me. I thought maybe I would get an inconvenience discount because I was out of hot water for almost a month, but no. Well not be using this company again and highly discourage anyone else from using them.

Tech came out to change a filter at Select, where i work to change a filter. Did some things with the thermostat, then as he was leaving asked if this system was working before. Me: Yes, it was working before this guy showed up. Hmm, well maybe it will start again. Me:?????. Spent 20 minutes trying to convince us it was working, put in a service call. 2 different guys came and left. Saying, all good. HVAC STILL NOT WORKING. a TX cool 87 degrees. Need to find someone that can fix an hvac system. Or at least not leave it with more problems than they came into.

Tried to do business with this company twice. First guy came out to do an estimate for a hot water heater in January-still waiting for the estimate! This morning I called needing a new hot water heater and received no call back by noon! I decided on another company!!

Beware of this company. Their driver had integrity and honor. The owner does not. Their driver was in oncoming traffic and accidentally ran into us while we were stationary at a traffic light. We were NOT MOVING.
The day of the accident the owner said they would cover damage to our vehicle. The next day they changed their mind and tried to say it was our fault. They said my van was over the line…. I can prove it wasn’t. The lane is 132 inches wide (I measured it today) my van is 82 inch wheel base would have to sit OVER 50 inches from the inside of the white line in order to be over the center line.
Look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
Shame on the owner for lacking integrity, accountability and honor. I am proud of the driver of the truck who stopped to exchange information and make sure we were ok, may the Lord bless him for having honor and integrity.

I needed a trusted company to re-pipe my home, and First Service was terrific! Jeremy was very professional, efficient and friendly and explained all that he was doing. Definitely recommend this company!
