“I brought my 2 little foster babies here several years ago. I'm surprised I never left a review. One was 3 years old and the other was 4. When they came to live with me, their hair was not in good shape. I took them somewhere because I had no idea how to care for their hair and bring it back to healthy. The first place I took them, they screamed and cried because it hurt and the woman just shoved a sucker in their mouth and kept going. It made me cry! I met a woman there that told me she would help me with their hair next time because it shouldn't be traumatic. I called her and she came to my home and helped me with their hair. She spent almost an entire day doing their hair. She was so sweet. I felt bad though that she had to take time away from her kids to come help me. My neighbor told me about Girl Talk Salon. She said when her girls were little, she would bring them here, but both her girls were grown with their own kids now. I made an appointment with Kiarra. I brought my girls in and we spent most of the day there getting their hair done. She made the biggest difference in my 4 year olds hair and confidence. When I brought her, she had bald spots and broken hair all over. She was able to bring health back to her hair and always gave her braids that lifted her up! She never made them cry and worked so well with them. I can not shout out louder for Kiarra. This was about 4 years ago and I don't know if she is still there, but if she is, I want her to know that she really made a difference in their lives. She did their hair for about a year and when they left me, they had beautiful healthy hair. I wish I could upload pictures to show the confidence on their faces after seeing Kiarra, but I don't want to post their faces. I highly recommend Girl Talk Salon and especially Ms. Kiarra!“
