Barkington Inn is a wonderful place for dogs to stay. Nancy and Bill provide excellent care and treat the dogs like their own. They are welcoming, accommodating, and offer reasonable rates. Owners appreciate the peace of mind knowing their dogs are happy and well-cared for. Many dogs get excited when they arrive at Barkington Inn, eager to see Nancy and Bill. Photos and videos of the dogs are provided, allowing owners to stay connected while they are away.
Luckily we were introduced to Barkington Inn by a close friend that uses them. We live in Denver, Colorado but sometimes travel out of Dallas because we have family there. We went to Mexico and are glad we were about to leave our dog Riggs with them. He is a very social dog and loved his time there. He played non-stop and was excited to get there but sad to leave. We are taking a long trip to Asia in December and can’t wait to take Riggs back! They are very attentive and LOVE dogs! You need to go there!
We had an amazing experience at Barkington Inn! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and love they have for the dogs. Their house is very clean, well-kept, and welcoming, and the pups are truly treated like family.
Nancy and Bill were absolutely amazing — so kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Our pups enjoyed it so much they didn’t even want to go home LOL.
We felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were in great hands. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Barkington Inn to anyone looking for a place they can truly trust with their fur babies 🐾✨
I can’t thank them enough!! I had a sudden travel situation where I had to leave my baby and they were the most welcoming and supportive to help me have a safe place for my pup. They kept me updated with pictures and videos and made me feel confident my pup would be under the safest and best care with them. If you ever need someone to watch over your pup I highly recommend Barkington Inn!!! I couldn’t have made it without them!!
