“Visiting from Boston just to do my hair with Janet is worth it . I have been coming to her since high school to dye my hair blonde and it’s been a good experience and process . After moving to Boston I remained coming to her . 4months to 2 years my hair looks fresh and done regardless of how long I take to come and do a retouch . The bleach and hair dye is chemical free and it is good quality . “Lindsey came highly recommended on NextDoor after seeking neighborly input on an experienced colorist. I made the huge mistake of going to a cosmetology school to have my hair colored thinking those students were under constant supervision. Not in my case. What was once a solid shade of beautiful golden blond had turned into an unrecognizable mess of asymmetrical dark chunks of color so randomly applied that my 8-year-old niece could have done a better job. It was very disheartening as my hair was very long. I went in to see Lindsey for a consultation during which she showed genuine compassion and thoroughly examined the damage. She was also very cheerful, confident and optimistic- something I definitely needed at that time. Knowing that I was scheduled to go on vacation that very weekend, Lindsey then fit me into her already full schedule that same day. The one thing that really sold me during the consultation though (aside from the other positives I just mentioned) was the fact that she was keen on taking the least invasive route for the color correction in order to avoid causing more damage to my already stressed hair. It took a total of 5.5 hours and a great amount of expertise to correct my hair color, but in the end, I felt comfortable in my own skin again. Lindsey did a phenomenal job fixing an utter mess. If you find yourself in a similar boat or are just looking for a great colorist, I urge you to schedule a consultation with her. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.“

“I’ve been going to Ashleigh for almost 2 years now and I cannot recommend her enough! She has done balayage, haircuts, deep conditioning treatments, and event makeup. I consider my hair to be “special” (I suppose we all do) because I am biracial and it is super curly but very fine and I found previous hairdressers to have a hard time cutting my natural curly hair whether it is wet or dry. Usually the layers are off or it still ends up being uneven and the shape flat. But Ashleigh absolutely knows what she is doing and not only does my hair look and feel the best it has ever been, it is healthier and growing like a weed. She also uses very high quality products in fact, her Kuene curly shampoo and conditioner is all I use now at home and my two teen girls use it too and I can see true changes in the health of their hair as well. Oh, and the makeup she does is fabulous, I wanted something super natural looking and she used airbrush to create a flawless elevated look based on my skin tone and outfit.
