This is the only place I will leave my standard poodle, London! While we were out of the country she got sick. Erin took her to the vet and cared for her while we were gone. The medicine she was on made her not want to eat. Erin tried everything and ended up cooking chicken and rice for her! My Doberman was well cared for and came back tired, happy and shining from her bath! The staff are professional, knowledgeable and kind. I've worked in the animal welfare industry for 17 years in an executive role in HR. Believe me when I say I e seen it all. This rating is an emphatic one, backed by years of experience myself. Additionally, the owner took care of my horse for me while I was away. As horses do when you are gone, she had an abscess on her hoof. The owner quickly got a hold of me and followed the instructions from the veterinarian and my farrier. She saved me from extreme worry and took the best care of my horse. Seriously, these people love and care for animals and it showed. ❤️

They pick and choose what medical records are acceptable. They accused Abandond Animal Rescue of not deworming my dog even though the medical record clearly states he was.
I will NEVER visit here again and will never recommend them to anyone. They are not vets.

🌟 Grateful for Dogs Gone Country 🌟
We are so thankful for Erin, her husband, and the entire team at Dogs Gone Country. We’ve been boarding our two dogs, Ellie & Frankie, there for about three years—usually a couple of times a year. Even though it’s about a 30-minute drive for us, it’s worth every mile.
Our sweet Ellie has diabetes and requires daily insulin injections, so it was very important to us to find a facility that could handle her medical needs with confidence.
This week, while we were away, Erin noticed that Ellie was struggling and needed immediate medical attention. Thanks to Erin’s quick response (both she and her husband are licensed vet techs), Ellie received care right away from a local veterinarian—and her life was saved.
We just landed and are on our way to pick up our pups, but I couldn’t wait to share how grateful we are. This is truly an outstanding facility that goes above and beyond for the pets in their care. We can’t recommend Dogs Gone Country enough. 🐾❤️
