But when you also receive that unique level of kindness from people that reassure you that not only are you seen, but so is your loved one who passed, you are given the freedom to feel all that your feel. This kindness was exhibited by each and every person I encountered at Combest Funeral Home“

This is an example of how the staff at Lakeridge go above and beyond to provide ongoing support for families who have experienced a death. The door prizes included a signed basketball and football from Tech. The evening was amazing.
7/25 I’m going today to complete my preplanning arrangements. Jennifer has made the experience comfortable. Sherri welcomed me into the weekly grief support group although I had not had a relationship with Lakeridge. Supporting people in the community rather than just those who had used their services caused me to realize that Lakeridge does care about everyone. Hanging around people working at a funeral home may seem like an unusual situation, however, their caring and compassion is something difficult to describe with words just something that can be felt. When you have a loss in your life (if you are alive, it will happen), the wonderful staff at Lakeridge will assist you in the process of your loss. Preplanning is a gift I’m giving to those I’ll be leaving.“

“The loss of our mother was a difficult time for my siblings and myself, however everyone at Sanders felt like family and walked along side us from beginning to end. They did an amazing job from pre-planning to planning the funeral and each of the selections we had to make and dressing mom, she looked so pretty. On a personal note, in the chaos and my emotions I want to say that I kept Mikey pretty busy. He seemed to walk up to me at moments I didn't realize I needed him, at times he seemed to look into my eyes and hand me his paw as if to say, I understand.
Sam, thank you all for guiding us through our time of loss and grief. You are a truly blessing.“
