This place changed my life for the better. I’m part of their adult program, it has helped my fitness and confidence tremendously. The master is the best you’ll find in Texas and he will take the time to give you the individual attention you need to thrive in this program as well as helping you to work in teams.
Edit: I Haven’t been able to attend recently due to life circumstances, but the team here is very understanding and will help to get you back in the groove when needed if you can’t attend every class.
It’s a decent place to learn martial arts. I wont lie, including testing fees, gear fees and tuition, and other hidden fees, this studio will set you back about 200-250 (~150$ for tuition + 50-100 dollars for testing fees) a month, and duly note that they don’t do month-by-month payments, so you’ll have to commit to this for 3-6 month contracts. Cancellation fees on contracts are about 250$They don’t do much sparring at all, but the place is clean and there’s an emphasis on developing the enthusiasm of students. We were looking for something that would empower our daughter and build confidence, we wanted to avoid some of the bullying, negativity and toxic parents that can come with things like dance, or cheer. Cheon's has been such an incredible addition to our week. They are amazing with the kids. They take time to make all new students feel welcomed, they allow the kids to be kids while still building skill, strength, and discipline. The other parents are great and it never feels like another clique or secret society. I've never seen my kid as confident as she is when we leave class!
