i read the reviews for the 82 Street Barber Shop and I liked what I was reading...I took a chance and went to see if Rocky, who had several reviews that were 5 stars was still there. Rocky was still employed there and he cut my hair. Rocky was through and took his time cutting my hair. He was a craftsman with a pair of scissors and comb...I have found my new Barber Shop. There were two other barbers employed at this establishment, and I am sure they are great barbers as well, you will not be disappointed!

I was a walked in. 1st time in this location. Got a chair quick b/c it was not that busy. Rocky did my haircut and i will tell you guys, this is by far the best haircut and barber experience for me in a very long time. Rocky did a fantastic job and he was so detailed. Rocky was never in a hurry to finish my haicut. You can tell he is well experienced and really cares to his customers. This is my go to shop now. 10 stars if possible. Thanks Rocky. You rock.

I highly recommend 82nd Street Barbershop to all that want to have a good haircut with CLEAN PEOPLE WORKING ON YOU!! I sold this shop after 35 yrs of working there, and have to say to all that went in after I left, I’m truly sorry for all the bad experiences you encountered in there. But now it’s going to be so much better, so go back in and just give it a try. You won’t be sorry!! The new people that bought the shop from me are GREAT PEOPLE AND THEY WILL BE VERY SUCCESSFUL JUST AS I WAS!! THERE HAS BEEN A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE PHONES WORKING THE PAST TWO WEEKS, but THEY ARE OPEN, and the phones will be back on hopefully tomorrow!! Thank you, and may God bless... read full review
