I went for a simple silk press and I ended up with her putting some type of relaxer on my hair without my consent so that she could manage my hair more easier without my knowledge OR permission. After 6 years of dedication on my natural journey she simply wanted to make her job easier by adding chemicals to help straighten my hair since I have alot when all she had to say was that she didn't feel comfortable working on natural hair. One appointment and now I'm having to deal with the effects of the aftermath of her actions. Everything I had worked hard for is now destroyed and I'm faced with a difficult decision of do I cut it off and start over or just deal with how bad whatever chemicals that where used destroyed my hair. Before I wrote this I tried multiple times to reach out to see what was it that was used in the process to see if maybe there was an alternative to reverse whatever chemicals was used but she never responded!! So that tells me she just really could care less!! I don't recommend this salon at all!! Especially if you're on your natural journey . I find this very disrespectful and very unprofessional. I'll just call this the silk press nightmare, please avoid at all costs if you have alot of hair, you've been warned.

Had a great time at this salon. Owner is very nice and made me feel at home. She was attentive and had me in and out in a timely manner! Will definitely be recommending to friends
