The greens were nice, there were so many deer, and The Eatery was delicious!

The website specified that women could not wear tennis skirts or tank tops so I dressed accordingly, but when we showed up almost every woman was in a tank top or spaghetti straps. When I asked - staff member about it, she said they didn’t really enforce that rule. I wish I would’ve known sooner so I wasn’t in short sleeves burning up in 101 degree sun. The bridges on the front nine were pretty rough and looked kind of sketchy. There were a few things that were broken that look like they could be an easy fix. However we did have a great time and the staff were all kind!

What a great course. The balance of being challenging but fair is in play here. Some long Par-3s. Fast greens, fairways are mixed with some wide and others are narrow. Lots of water is in-play. And everything is beautiful and lush. Rip: play a golf ball that has lots of spin to keep it on the greens.

This was our first visit, but will not be the last. Course condition is immaculate, but very challenging. The scenery and abundant wildlife make it very unique experience to be so close to the hustle of the dfw. Overall a 10/10 golf course.
