Recently visited and was lucky enough to have Kat as my receptionist. She went above and beyond to ensure I was cared for before even asking if I had insurance or if I could pay. My Nurse and doctor were also very professional and comforting. Great experience 😊

We are new to the area and haven’t established a PCP yet. I called Christus Clinic in Lindale to make an appointment for my daughter who was seen and treated at the ER (next door to the clinic) 2 days prior. They set me up for a 12/8 appointment to establish care. I then asked for something sooner since her symptoms were worse. The lady I spoke with explained they have “walk-in’s” at 7:30am and 12:30pm and only take 12 patients per session. I said okay I will go tomorrow (Tuesday) since there were storms going on. I even said I will be there at 12:30. I show up at 12:40 was told they only do 7:30am walk ins on Tuesday. After explaining to the lady up front what I was told the day before she tells me to write my children’s name down and they will be with me in a minute. 10 minutes later another lady at the front desk calls me up and basically says they won’t see me. When I said so I was given misinformation and drove 25 minutes for nothing she just shrugged her shoulders. Zero help, zero empathy, zero care for my child. Just another number. We will be looking for a private practice.

The walk in clinic is great when it’s open but it’s closed frequently on days when it’s scheduled to be open

I was very impressed with the nurse assistant Tammy. She was very thorough in reviewing my chart and medications. Checked blood pressure twice to make sure it was correct. Very sweet. Also, the nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable in the care my mom needed. Listened and responded with good solutions.

Signed in AT 4pm on the radiology sign in sheet for my scheduled mammogram. I was told I would be called back shortly. Waited almost an entire HOUR before the gentleman checking people in for radiology realized I had signed in. The tech had already left for the day by the time he checked the sign in sheet. Needless to say, very incompetent front desk. Do NOT go here if you want to save drive and PTO time from people more concerned about DMs on their computer rather than patient care.

I called their call center and scheduled an appointment for Thursday in Lindale. I arrived early, waited for nearly 30 minutes only to be told that my appointment was for Tuesday and in Tyler. News to me, as I had made it over the phone for Lindale. The nurse was kind enough to lay the blame on me. -10/10 I'd rather wait for an ambulance to drive me away from this place. Perhaps UT South...

This is where my our primary care provider is and we really like her and her nurses. I’ve had ER service here twice and we are pleased with them also.
The reason I gave this a lower score is because of the front desk and the walking clinic.
First, the PA at the walk in clinic is a fantastic provider but my beef with them is you never know if they are going to be open…either closing for the day/week of if they decide to close early. If she’s out they close down and have no one to fill in. They close it down for an entire week when she’s on vacation and there’s no way for you to know about it until you arrive. I’ve tried calling to make sure they are open before hours just to be able to plan on which location to drive to and you get another dept somewhere that doesn’t know.
Second, the front desk area is loud and everyone in the waiting room knows your business (date of birth and reason for visit). Depending on the nature of your visit this can be extremely embarrassing. I like it when there is a bit of a divider and it feels a little more private giving my info.
Finally, the front desk pays little attention. I was here a couple of months ago and they tried to collect our specialist copy amount and not the lower cost copay. Then she collected a copay even though it was a wellness visit and I should not have paid anything. The business office applied a credit to the account but the front desk didn’t see it and had us pay again when visiting the urgent care. The business office says they are supposed to call and have the credit applied but apparently the staff doesn't know to do this.
The Lindale clinic is handy when you can actually be seen but just know you might have to hold the hand of the front desk staff to get things done right.

Got to my appt on time signed in. 45 min later haven't been called so I go ask. Was told we'll did u sign in I said yes. I was suppose to see Dr Cavvanas however the young lady checking us in lost my info. So they said we'll they can try to work you on between other patients. That is not acceptable.
