We bought a house in large part to have dogs. The house we bought was just down the street from Lewisville North Animal Clinic. But, before we went I asked all my neighbors, that had animals, who they used. ALL used them. And not just because they were literally within walking distance. I wish my physician and dentist were as on the spot about answering calls and making appointments!!!!! I get so angry when a call goes immediately to answering devices, only to be called WHO KNOWS WHEN. Not here. The friendliness of the staff, and vets contribute to a relaxed visit. I have had consistently good experiences here, particularly with Dr. Burke. She has treated my elderly and very fragile Pomeranian mix competently and very compassionately. Even when he was very sick, she didn't give up on him and found ways to make him comfortable and he's still kicking at 18 years old. Her office also did a really great teeth cleaning on my other Pomeranian. She's really great with skin issues, and my once bald Pom is a fuzzball thanks to her. The receptionist and vet techs are also freaking amazing! They're so sweet to my old man Snickers and my super nervous Ladybug. I really can't recommend them more, and I'm super picky about vets.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this clinic! The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable when answering questions and if the question warrants a call or answer from the vet the are quick to get back to you or the Vet themselves will call you about your concern. Dr Burke (formally Dr Nygaard) is amazing. I truly believe that she has a sixth sense when it comes to my pets which is very hard to find in a Vet these days. Most vets want to run massive testing when it comes to diagnosing and animal and they rely only on those test to treat. I believe Dr Burke has that extra knack and knowledge.
