“Juan Antonio is the most talented, kind and considerate tailor in Laredo. I am a gringa and don’t speak Spanish but had been to Juan Antonio for some minor alterations that he did a fabulous job with. When it came to my wedding dress, I was hoping for someone that spoke English. I searched Laredo far and wide and could find no one that spoke English… but also no one that had the care, precision and expertise that Juan Antonio did. I decided to revisit him with my wedding dress and risk the language barrier. I’m so glad I did! He was patient, kind and willing to share his obvious decades of experience with me at every visit. He altered almost every detail of the dress until it looked absolutely perfect, and even fixed poor tailoring previously done by others. On top of his talent, it’s easy to see that he has a love and a passion for tailoring… and for people. He has a kindness that shines through our language barrier and a genuine gratitude for me as a customer.
