my cat had been bitten by something while outside, his leg was swollen, and he was unable to walk. I called my vet to see if I could get him in, they told me the next opening wasn't four days, said I could take him to an emergency clinic. I called Lancaster. Vet explained what was going on got him worked in, he ended up having a high fever and an abscess that needed to be drained. Everyone in the office was so nice, caring and treated my cat like their own. I have now consider them my primary vet not only Samson but my other animals as well.

Dr. Bohannan has been my pets' doctor since 1989. He is the best. However, my little girl had to see a woman doctor that I hadn't seen before. My poor girl couldn't put her weight on her left hind leg, where I assume she got her shots. This has never, ever happened with Dr. Bohannan. I will make sure she only sees him. All the assistants are great. Always friendly and polite.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FURBABIES HERE!! The vets here care more about $ than actually caring for your animals. Maybe that's why so many reviews talk about their animals being misdiagnosed or dying after coming here. STAY AWAY!!!

The workers here clearly can't tell the sign of cancer in a dog. My dog had bloodshot red eyes and was barely eating. I took my dog here and they said she was fine and eating well. Took her to another vet and discovered she had multiple tumors, days later she had to be put to sleep. Looking at the reviews this is a recurring problem for them as of late. Highly recommended the VCA Desoto Animal Hospital.

I was a loyal customer of Lancaster Vet Clinic...over 20 yrs ..but no more? In April my 12 yr old Lhasa Aspo went for his annual checkup. I even paid extra to get the works for blood work. Dr Bohannon called me and said that Sammy (Lhasa Aspo) said his blood work was normal. And he was in good health. A week laterSammy was having seizures every hour. Took him to the Blue Pearl ER hospital in Mesquite . I was told Sammy had a big mass in his lower jaw and ate away his lower jaw. And the cancer had spread to his brain . By the next morning Sammy was put to sleep.. I asked the ER vet how long was the mass there. She told me it was there for quite a long time. Now let's just say .. I don't trust Lancaster Vet Clinic. It's up to you.. but I would find another vet. I'm done withDr Bohannon. My recommendation is Dr Wade at Ennis Vet Clinic

Do not I repeat do not take your loved pet here these people need to be put out of business always have an excuse to why they won't help not helpful at all you either gonna leave paying ridiculous money for no reason and still have complications or your animal will have some Issues that they caused I heard racial slurs it all makes since every minority they help it's an excuse to why they can't help like racial profiling at it's best stay away not a good business for anyone that care for they're pets

I went to treat my dog. I was short on the money and asked if I find the money would they treat her and they said yes. 5 mins later I let them know I had the money and my mother in law will pay it. They send me to mansfield because they close at 1pm.

I was really on the fence about taking my pup to LVC but figured I would try to support our local vet and took my 7 week old pup in on 6/18 for his 1st round of shots. He tested positive for parvo on 6/23 and had to be put down on 7/1!! Because this occurred over the weekend I took him to the pet hospital and contacted LVC on Monday. The lady said "oh no well let us know how he does and if he makes it we'll get him in here a few weeks later for a checkup." He had been going for outpatient treatments at the hospital. I called LVC on 7/1 to ask for fluids and nausea medicine and the short answer is the vet on duty refused to give either and they were booked up for the day. She didn't even bother to call me, I've only spoken with the very helpful lady who answers the phone. I still have NO idea who the vet is! They wouldn't let me come in for his appointment!! My sweet pup had to be put down that same day!! I am LIVID and will never return to that clinic even if services were free!

This was the worst experience called 4 days prior to schedule an appointment for my pet. Get there for his appointment how about they claimed the vet was not their and that they normally don't schedule appointments on thursday well why didn't they state that on Monday when I called a total waste of time was extremely upset with this place.....
