Although the course has been one of the best-kept secrets in Texas for over thirty years, it currently faces challenges with its greens, which are not in the best condition due to recent freezes. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the prices for food and drinks are reasonable. The course features gas-powered golf carts and offers a relaxing atmosphere where visitors may see wildlife such as deer, which are not shy around humans. The scenery and hilly terrain provide a beautiful view, making the experience enjoyable regardless of the condition of the greens and fairways, which are not perfectly maintained at this time. The restaurant, The Bunker, offers decent food, adding to the overall visit. The management is working to improve the course, and with some TLC, it has the potential to become a top-notch golfing destination.
