About McCusker Mixed Martial Arts
McCusker Mixed Martial Arts is a gym for the whole family, welcoming both kids and adults. It is described as a great bonding experience for parents and children. The coaches, including Coach Tom, are noted as passionate, patient, super knowledgeable, serious, fun, and true professionals. They give all kids attention and take time to explain moves clearly, even for very young children. Members find the atmosphere fun, easy-going, and like a home where everyone feels comfortable and right at home. Training is both an extreme challenge and a really good time, with programs in Juijitsu and Mauy Thai. Participants report developing physically, getting much stronger, and gaining significant confidence. The dedicated coaching prepares members for self-defense and tournaments. Many consider it the best place for their kid and plan to continue indefinitely, highly recommending the gym.
This gym feels like a family. From the day we came in over 2 years ago, Tom and Jillian have treated us like family. Our kids have thrived here and learned so many valuable skills. Our kids are physically more capable to defend themselves and stronger mentally. This gym also makes sure to pour into our children spiritually with Christian truth and love.
Guardians for Christ is a gym training children, teens, and adults in mixed martial arts. They strive to create a community for Christians to not only physically train but also to meet and grow together as followers of Christ. They are building an organization that is built on Godly principles that reaches out to those in our community.
My husband, Tom and I pour our heart and souls into this ministry. What started as a business…God has turned into a mission. We are set on training up warriors! We are on a mission to get people saved and into Heaven! We plant seeds and we pray that God waters them. We love the Lord our God with all our hearts and minds! We pray over the families that come to us. Everything we do, we do for the glory of God! Jesus Christ is our Lord and we trust that He will carry us and protect us as we do what He has called us to do! We don’t take this mission lightly!
