We completed Al’s 4-week Board & Train program, along with a few private and group sessions. Our goal wasn’t to teach our rescue dog, Wynn, a bunch of tricks—we wanted her to master a few core commands and become more neutral and confident in everyday situations.

After the Board & Train, we realized Wynn wasn’t the problem—we were. While Al had built a great foundation, we needed help applying that training in the real world. Al was incredibly patient and took the time to train us on how to effectively use the commands and e-collar Wynn had already learned.

I called Al out of desperation with my rescued golden, Clyde. He had pulled me down numerous times seeing squirrels, dogs, and people. Although I had been training dogs for 20 years, Clyde was more than I could handle. I opted for the board and train, four weeks. Clyde is a new dog! He listens, behaves on walks, and is super attentive to me.
