They denied me service for absolutely no reason
I sent 3 different appointment request and they were denied
I’ll go elsewhere

Just moved to the area, and this was an opportunity for this salon to book a regular family of clients. The prices aren't list on the website, yet the phone was never answered, so I went in person before my appointment to learn about pricing a few days before my husband and I's appointments, because I didn't want to be blindsided by the prices or feel taken advantage of. (My previous family hairstylist who also had many years of experience charged $25 for my husband's monthly hair cuts and $45 for my bi-monthly hair cuts and style, so I was looking for comparable pricing.) The receptionist then told me she could not give me prices, but said she would have the stylist get in touch with me regarding pricing before the appointment. We did not hear from the stylist. Day of the appointment comes and we are told by the stylist after services were completed (whom was also standing with the receptionist at that time) that she always charges $70 for a women's haircut and style (which I had a three inch trim straight off the back- nothing fancy, and I have quite thin hair) and $35 usually for men's cuts. Ok then, if that were the case, why couldn't the receptionist tell me that? The whole conundrum around the pricing just really put a bad taste in my mouth, and I probably should have trusted my gut. I am giving two stars because it is a nice family friendly salon. My family truly felt taken advantage of.

Please teach your girls how to do Pixie cuts. Not all Pixie cuts are the same nor are they long in the back. I have been seeing the same girl in that Salon for 2 years and was upset when I came and asked for a pixie cut and she said “ oh I don’t do pixie cuts”. I should have gotten up and left then, but no I stayed and got my hair done and paid $185 for the worst haircut I’ve ever had and highlights!! Plus gave her a 20% tip. I am upset at how my hair looks and I will not be returning back to the salon.

This was my first time coming to heist hair bar because i was recommended by a friend and it was 10/10 worth it everyone is so sweet the place is so nice, decorated cute, such good service for a good price. i got my hair done by victoria and she did really good i showed her a picture and she did exactly that, she also gave me a trim, and recommended me some good products. over all i had a good experience so i will be coming back!

I’m 50 years old and have naturally curly hair, so have many years of experience with what my curls like regarding a haircut. When she told me she had no idea how to style curly hair, even with a diffuser, I should have known she couldn’t cut curly hair either and should have left immediately. I told her NO thinning / texture, I need blunt cut layers. Though she didn’t use thinning shears, she thinned my hair with scissors so I didn’t realize it right away. When I questioned her she got frustrated and said “trust me I know what I’m doing”.Now I’ve got little fly away pieces of hair sticking up everywhere when I leave it curly, and when I try to blow it dry it’s even worse.I’ll need to cut about 3-4 inches off the length to fix it.I’m not going to name her because I’m sure she’s good with other hair. In fact, I got her name from a stranger I approached because I liked her layers so much. However, if you have curly hair make sure to ask for someone who knows how to style it so you don’t end up with the stylist I had!I want to thank the owner for reaching out, that was super nice and professional!

I appreciate that my stylist offered to wear a mask since I am high risk. Very clean shop. Cuts are pricey but they are everywhere. I always like my hair when the stylist is finished.
