I had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The check-in process was quick and seamless, with the front desk handling the basic medical forms efficiently. Julie did an outstanding job of thoroughly explaining each machine and the steps involved in my eye exam, making me feel comfortable and well-informed. In approximately the spring of 2005 I was hospitalized after a compressed air explosion at a construction site where I worked as a pipe fitter. After being rendered unconscious from the force of the blast I, I woke up in a hospital with my hands bound to the bed rails with medical tape. Two things were immediately apparent. The first was the incredible pain. Second, and even more significant than the pain, I couldn’t see. The doctors told me later that I had hundreds of tiny metal fragments in both eyes that had to be surgically removed.
