First Light Home Care is absolutely amazing. My Mother was receiving Home Hospice care. The ladies from First Light were so kind, caring and efficient in taking great care of her 24 hours a day. They truly cared about her and all her special needs, until the end. They care about my whole family and our feelings. If any issue arouse, First Light took care of it immediately. The care givers and the administration provided individual specific care to my Mother's needs as her terminal illness progressed. I'll forever be grateful.
I am with my Mom (Dementia and in a wheelchair) and Daddy (final stages of Alzheimer's) for almost 4 hours every weekday afternoon, through their supper time. Because I am not able to assist them in a physical capacity a caregiver from FirstLight is also with them while I am there. They are in an Assisted Living facility but their needs would not be met without the awesome FirstLight ladies whom I get to see, in person, as they not only take care of them but truly love on them. First Light Home Care of Katy has been very good to my parents. I live in another state. The care providers have been wonderful. They have balanced providing light housekeeping, running a few errands, and most importantly to me, they have provided companionship to my mother during my father's frequent hospital stays. The owners have kept in contact with me anytime when concerns have arisen. I have been contacted by email when a general question has arisen and by phone when there is a critical need to communicate. My parents are thrilled with the caregivers and I am happy to have peace of mind.
