I took my Mazdaspeed3 head to Mario to have it decked and it was significantly warped. Once I got it back it was nice and flat; I even had him verify it with a straight edge and feeler gauges. It passed that test, but I was concerned with the seemingly rough looking cut on the finish. I took it back to him the next day to ask for his opinion on it and he said he couldn’t cut it smoother. But he offered a refund which I did accept and ended up taking the head to a nearby shop to attempt to get a smoother finish. They inspected the head and said that it looked good to them. I was happy to hear that so I returned Mario’s refund back to him.
