We had a great experience adopting the newest member of our guinea pig herd from Hurst this week. we had hoped to adopt two brothers but one hadn't been well and both were sent to the vet for checkups. they knew we wanted to adopt both and called me over the next few days with regular updates. unfortunately, one passed away. we knew it would be tough on his brother so as soon as he arrived back from the vet, we ran down that afternoon and got him. We've named him George and he has settled in wonderfully. he's the sweetest guinea pig and loves cuddles and exploring. he has his own big cage next to his neighbors William & Louis. George is a senior pig at 4 and a half years old and will be living his best life in his twilight years. ❤️
