Terrible experience. Justin the owner is my stylist. The last several times I have been in, he has used me to train new, unqualified assistants. Justin mixes the color, but the assistant does everything but the cut. The color (I came for a root touch up) was applied very splotchy and doesn't match the rest of my hair at all. Had to be redone because apparently it was too red the first time, but it is just as bad now. Very dark when I wanted blonde. Inexperienced trainee applied it sloppily with obvious lines and Justin never even checked her work after letting her apply my color! She asked another stylist who glanced at me and tried to tell her to go back and check parting it differently. She didn't ask Justin because she was too scared of him. Trainee gave me the blow out also. She parted my bangs in the middle and curled them inward to my forehead. I have never seen anything like it. She redid it after asking if this was how I styled my hair (after blow drying--didn't ask before) and I said no I like my bangs to cover my forehead. Then finally, Justin came over to cut my bangs and he had to redo blow drying them. If I am going to be used as a specimen for a beauty class, I shouldn't pay salon owner prices. Also, 190 for a simple one length bob and root touch up seems excessive. My price was less than that for highlights, so make it make sense. I won't be going back.

Always friendly and professional. Very clean. Will continue to get my hair done at this wonderful salon. I have used several stylist and never been disappointed.

My hair is literally 1inch longer on my rt side than my left, my haircut is not suppose to be asymmetrical. The stylist started cutting my hair, she stopped to check a color client, came right back and started cutting again. The second time the stylist left she returned with the color client and started cutting HER hair, I sat for 15min waiting for the stylist to finish my haircut. When the stylist returned to cutting my hair it was dry which is why I believe my hair is lopsided. The stylist attempted to ditch me a third time but I objected so she sped through the blow dry and style portion of my appointment. After I left a review on Google the salon reached out to me but in offering to "fix" my hair they made it seem like my fault for being a walk-in which I was not, I made my appointment through their website several days in advance so there shouldn't have been any reason for them to "squeeze me in"
In hindsight I probably would have been better off going to Great Clips.

got charged 40 dollars more then it should of been at the end of the service, because the lady in the front said to charge me for more things. I wanted my hair to be black with streaks/ chunky highlights of dark pinkish color, Lefted with darkish brown hair and my streaks still have blonde in them due to the fact of not being dyed properly. I plan to go in too see if they can fix what they done but if not I wouldn't recommend.

Pablo did a conditioning treatment on my hair, along with a haircut and he is amazing! Very knowledgeable and very kind, I’ll definitely go back to see him when it’s time!

okay so i have gone there a total of three times. The first time was to get bangs which was fine. I told them I was a first time guest and they were super nice and offered beverages. Then I came in another time to fix a botched up bangs cut I got in my hometown. The stylist was just too in rush and did not want to consult and wanted to jump straight in. I had to let her know wait slow down please i'm scared let me show you some pictures and explain what I want and let's go step by step. Versus treating my appointment like a drive through. In the end she did fine but I couldn't stop thinking about what she would've done if I didn't practically ask her to slow down. Okay now for my recent visit I came in for a full hair cut and bangs. At this point I had grown out my bangs and practically didn't have them anymore. This girl asked me what I wanted and didn't let me explain in depth. I had spent the night before gathering pictures and typed out how I would explain it. I understand that I didn't speak up and didn't necessarily say anything before she jumped right in but it's a hair salon.. there needs to be a comfortable/ communicative environment established from the Salon not the customer. I work in customer service myself as a server in college. To put it in perspective, I work at a steak house if someone who doesn't normally get steak or doesn't know what they want and I ask how would you like your steak cook and they seem unsure or whatever the case may be. My job is to provide the info of the different steaks so this customer doesn't get a steak he doesn't want and so that kitchen doesn't have to make another steak. I was just so upset that this salon does not offer consultations during apportionments. Please talk and truly find out what your customer wants. In the end I ended up having to come back using the "7-day guarantee" and still didn't get what i wanted and had a whole breakdown about it. anyways some people are coming from botched places and could be scared. so just TALK. (it's customer service)

The experience was AMAZING but I had know idea how expensive it was going to be until it was time to pay. Was worth it, but it was a shock. Would have been better to have the prices posted in a very hard to miss place. That is my only criticism. The people were amazing.

Heat treatment and cut. The music was great, but the vibe was a little catty. Seemed a little cold between the stylists. Shelby was super busy, I had to wait, so Pablo shampooed and heat treated my hair, then Shelby took over and cut my hair. She still had the first client at the sink, then her next client showed up. So needless to say she was way too busy. I love my cut, but that's about it.

Shelby did an excellent job on my highlights and bleach! I highly recommend her! Great attitude and positively precious! She also did a great job on cutting my husband's hair! Thanks Shelby!

After my straightener dying the morning of an important event... I called The Color Bar & asked if anyone was available. Luckily they did have someone & even with a time crunch Kalynn was able to Shampoo, dry, & style my hair perfectly & just in time!!! Amazing place with kind people who care and cater to your needs!:)
