The Humble VA Outpatient Clinic offers top-notch medical care with a dedicated and skilled staff, including Dr. Decatur, PA Miller, and helpful nurses. While some patients have had mixed experiences with the front desk, the clinic has received high praise from many patients who appreciate the respectful and exceptional service they receive. Some patients even travel long distances to receive care from specific providers at the clinic, which is considered a standard that all VA clinics should strive for.
Thank God for this place I been going to Micheal De Bakey since 1997 it still out control to park is insane. My blood pressure is always out control. This was hidden jewel. Staff is amazing you can get in and out. No high blood pressure
Over the past 30 years of being a VA patient, I have had the opportunity to see many different facilities and staff members, and I can say with confidence that the Team at the Kingwood VA Center stands out. They are consistently patient, thoughtful, and compassionate in the way they approach care. Even in situations where they are clearly understaffed and most likely overworked, they never let that become an excuse for providing anything less than their best effort. It is important to note that this is not their fault—it’s a challenge of resources, not dedication.

The Humble Outpatient Clinic is a blessing. Dr.Decatur is very skilled, dedicated and knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients. When life happens & my pcp doesn’t have availability I see PA Miller in the sick call clinic, he is personable, friendly and I appreciate the exceptional care he provides me and the other vets. The nurses are always helpful and polite & the front desk clerks are knowledgeable in assisting me with any questions/concerns I may have. I got more information from her in 15 minutes than I did when I spoke to the VA downtown for an hour and she was incredibly nice too which is something I didn’t receive in Houston.
