At Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble, the staff is exceptional, including every nurse, doctor, OT, PT, case manager, kitchen delivery, and cleaning lady. They are super friendly, kind, courteous, helpful, and know what they are doing. The staff treats patients like family, bending over backwards to keep a warm and cheery atmosphere. They are very polite and understanding of pain, and determined to get patients on their feet. Therapies help minimize pain, making it bearable. The food is great, with one patient enjoying the very moist peach upside down cake. The facility feels like home, with a warm atmosphere where everyone is friendly and takes time to fulfill needs. One patient recovering from a hip replacement is walking better and can lift a leg. Another with sciatica felt the therapies minimized pain. A patient recovering from a total knee replacement found the pain bearable with great rehabilitation. If ever needing rehab again, this is definitely where they would go.
I had the best staff all day and over night. Every nurse, doctor, OT, PT, case manager, kitchen delivery, cleaning lady ...all where exceptional. I even enjoyed some of the food. The peach upside down cake was very moist. The staff helped me with my hip replacement surgery. Because of them I am walking better and can lift my leg a small fracture.
I was very sick with the sciatica. After almost 2 months suffering this painful sickness my insurance well point approved me to stay at encompass Health for rehabilitation. I was very happy there. Besides my pain everything was a dream. Their staff treats you like a family member. Very polite and understanding your pain. The therapies helped me to minimize my pain. I was feeling that I was at home. If you’re in pain due to any reason I recommend encompass for your therapies where you will be treated like a family.
