“I went in for a free consultation for dental implants. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and valued. I felt that the dentist listened to me about my history and considered many factors and options. I didn't leave feeling bad about my teeth, I left feeling hopeful.“

“I had a large tumor growing inside my maxilla that required extensive removal of the bone and teeth. Dr. Williams and his team planned and executed this unbelievable surgery where they removed all of my upper teeth and a lot of the maxillary bone and replaced it with a precisely cut section of my fibula along with the skin, muscle, and blood vessel (called a fibula flap). Prior to the surgery, they created cutting guides for my jaw and the fibula, and 3D-printed prosthetic teeth and gums. All in one 13-hour surgery, they were able to remove the tumor and and bone, cut out the fibula flap, install the implants in the fibula and attach the the 3D teeth to it, then fasten the fibula flap to my jaw and connect the blood vessel to a vessel in my neck. All of this work was done inside of my face. Nine months later, you cannot tell I ever had any major facial reconstructive surgery. The only scar I have is on a natural neck line, so it doesn’t even look like a scar. My leg is taking longer than expected to heal, but I imagine my level of physical activity has had something to do with that. What I cherish the most about this process of restoring my face to normal though is the team of doctors themselves. Dr. Williams walked me through the entire process and was always so friendly and genuine with me. He has this comforting sense of practical optimism. I felt from the first time I met him and his team that they were going figure out the best way possible to get me back in the classroom as soon as possible.“
