I totally agree with some of the reviews regarding the lack of attentiveness of the staff members. The sales associates usually approach me and ask if I need any help. I just went in on 5/9/26 to get my mom some lipstick for Mother’s Day and the customer service WAS actually lacking in spite of the plentiful amount of employees. I did notice that the cashier closest to the entrance politely greeted those entering the store. The security officer was actually more helpful than the sales associate who didn’t really offer any assistance. A while back I bought an Ameka perk up dry shampoo for $42 at another Ulta location (about 1hr away from where I live). Within a week, the compressed air escaped the can, faulty product. I went to this location to return it, explaining what had happened. I guess they though I had used up the 9.5 oz bottle in a week cause they refused to take it in even though you could hear the product inside the can. I went to another location, and they kindly refunded me, no questions asked.
This place is usually crawling with employees that are so willing to help. On my last visit 04/03/2026, the manager, seemed like the Mgr, she was wearing an headset and talking to others via the headset. I was walking parallel to get on the next aisle. She looked at me and did an about face. So, I did too, looked at me again and turned toward the back of the store. I only had a quick question. That seemed kinda rude. I had to leave bc no one was around to help me find my hair styling stuff. B&B or something like that
