Horrible. They take your money, You have to ask them for updates which most the answers where I don't know. Please don't let them do you the way they did me. Find another company

The were able to cut through the mud of a very difficult situation, save me literally thousands and perform expediently. I cannot say enough about your professionalism and work ethic.

Well, dont know where to begin, i hired top tax defenders to take care of my back taxes,and what an amazing job they did, one day service and my tax issues were resolved, highly recommended , now im back on track, what a relief, huge thanks to all at ttd!

This company did nothing but cost me more in interest in fees with the IRS. They are complete waste of time and take no pride in their work or actually achieving results. I do not recommend these services
I am updating this review because the only response to our reviews are empty disputes to our claims. I have attached redacted photos of the letter we received from the IRS stating a determination had been made in January of 2023 and we had 30 days to respond. This determination was made in November of 2023 at the hearing our attorney failed to attend. When we forwarded the letter to our contact at Top Tax Defenders, they seemed surprised and upon reviewing their records, showed nothing had been done or communicated on their part with our account since September of 2023. This is very important to take into consideration because after 12 months of no results from Top Tax Defenders and no ability to seem to move forward with them, we asked to terminate services and requested a full refund. I do not know any occupation anywhere in the world where you can sit on a paycheck for 12 months. produce zero results and expect to keep that pay. Top Tax Defenders put our case into an internal audit for 6 weeks with not one word to us. I reached out twice (all communications are documented in emails). After 6 weeks and the second request for our refund, we were denied any compensation and provided a work order breakdown that mysteriously showed tons of work on our case that directly conflicts with all of our email correspondence during that time. They simply denied the refund and somehow felt hours on paper (real or fabricated) determined good results. This is why I stress that I don't believe they hold any integrity. No one is perfect, We own 2 companies of our own; mistakes happen, and we always do our best to correct those mistakes. We believe fixing errors and making the client happy go above and beyond our paycheck at the end of the day.

Thank you Top Tax, I returned to them to complete my 2023 tax return and once again they have gone above and beyond to help me and answered ALL my questions. I am a small business and they helped me get an accepted offer previously and now have answered all my questions about tax credits and deductions.

Monica amended my return and got us a significant refund. She was extremely thorough and always kept me informed of updates. I am extremely grateful for all of her help and hard work.

Extremely poor communication with clients. Unanswered communication from IRS. Missed hearing. They only want to make more money instead of doing what they were already paid to help with. I made more progress in a settlement in 1 phone call than they did in almost a year!
