Spent $527 on my keratin treatment only to have it last one month when I was told it would be six months. Have been trying to get in touch with my hairstylist Patty that did my treatment but unfortunately was left unanswered after three attempts over the course of three days. Seems like I was only treated like a client when it involved spending my money. Also the site said it offers 20% for all first time services but was told I couldn’t get it because of my specific keratin treatment in comparison to others which makes no sense.

WHAT A RIP OFF!! I wish I had read the other reviews before spending $560 plus tip on such a bad keratin treatment. I have been getting keratin treatments since 2010 in New Jersey, where I used to live. My hair is not curly or very long, it only has some frizz due to coloring, which means I cannot even imagine how much they'll charge somebody with curly or very long hair. Since I moved to Texas I've been looking for a good keratin treatment place and thought I had finally found it. First of all, they make you pay $100 deposit when you make the appointment, which should've raised a red flag since it's the first salon who has charged me a deposit when making an appointment. The person who did the treatment said the organic Belma was the best, which convinced me to go with that one, although, of course, it was much more expensive. They charged $450 for the treatment plus $45 for an additional ounce of product I supposedly needed. They never asked me about adding this additional ounce, I only found out when it was time to pay. As a business owner I believe you owe your customers the courtesy to tell them beforehand if they will be charged more than expected, but unfortunately this wasn't done here. On top of that, the treatment took the toner on my hair off, so I had to go back to get another toner. By the way, they applied the wrong tone, even after I don't even know how many times I told the lady which tone I needed, and charged me $65 for it. Finally, if the treatment would've been good, I wouldn't be writing this review, however, after the first wash, of course with the right shampoo, I had noticeable frizz. After the third wash, which I do once every week, the whole treatment was gone, when the keratin treatment has always lasted at least 4 months for me. Needless to say, if you're looking for a place where you'll be excessively overcharged for a bad keratin treatment, this is the place for you.

I visited for the first time last week and couldn't be happier with my service. The humidity and sun in Houston is brutal on hair. Combine that with pool time and curly, frizzy hair can be a nightmare to deal with. I came in with my hair a hot mess and walked out with beautiful color, a fabulous keratin treatment, trim and smooth, tamed hair. My stylist Margaret was kind and took her time to do a good job. I felt comfortable and all those who work there are friendly. I was able to take advantage of a back to school special and with everything I had done the value for the money was outstanding. I joined the keratin loyalty program which is a great value so I look forward to return visits regularly.Services: Hairstyling

I have never had any hair treatment before this was my first time. I drove almost one hour to get there but it was worth it. I got keratin treatment by CC if u go there ask for CC she was amazing at her profession. As long you want results and u don’t about money they you should go here. I paid $390 , but I paid that much bcz my hair is thick but first time they just charge $280 bcz they give u 20% to first time customer, but then if u hair is long and thick it’s depends how much extra ounces they u in your hair that way they add in your total amount. It was best experience

I've been a client at The Keratin Salon for over 4 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. My hair has never looked better, both with the color treatment and keratin. I got the keratin complex treatment with Sisi and I have been so impressed with the results! It was well-worth the investment because it's been so easy! Aside from the high-quality treatment, I felt very comfortable and safe with Dee and Sisi. I definitely recommend coming to the Keratin Salon if you want to see great results!
