Safe Haven Animal Hospital is a very professional low cost veterinary clinic. They treated my dogs in a kind and respectful manner and you can’t beat the cost. They only suggestion is to be more attentive to phone calls.

Benji is doing exceptional well. Sleeping and a few bites of food. The time of the surgery and discharge from the hospital was only a few hours. He has urinate or poop yet. Which is kind of expected, as a result of the inflammation. The overall process went extremely well. The staff was very organized and professional. The prices and after care and follow recovery procedures are exceptional and I highly recommend their services .

Safe Haven Animal Hospital saved my dog's life. My little dog Sugar only weighs about ten pounds. She... very quickly developed a mast cell tumor out of nowhere. After relentlessly calling tons of vets and hospitals that were quoting me $8-16K to perform the surgery... I finally found Save Haven. They gave her all the meds she needed and cut out a very large (bigger than a softball) aggressive tumor. This was a blind surgery and it was also complicated due to the surrounding area. They had to take a lot of tissue out but the margins were clean, meaning they did a great job. Job well done. I added them to my prayer list and thank God for them and everything they do. Sugar has made a full recovery and is getting all fat and sassy hehe. Thank you all at Save Haven, so much! May God bless your work and every animal you touch.

As a first time pet owner my anxiety was through the roof about getting my baby Sushi spayed. She is a French bulldog & I read they can have complications when undergoing anesthesia so I was super paranoid. I talked to probably every person that works here at one point & everyone was super patient & helpful to answer my questions (I questioned every little thing). I came back a few times to double check a few things & that was handled well also. I never felt like I couldn’t reach out or go in to have something looked at or adjusted. I was referred by Palm to paws to come here & would def recommend Safe haven to anyone looking to get their pet spayed. I did not get everyone’s names but Sushi & I want to say thank you to everyone that helped us. She is now back to her normal self. :)

    Pet Parents Beware!!!
My beloved pet had a horrific dental experience here! I took my Yorkie in for multiple extractions. I dropped off at 8:15 am as instructed and told to pick up No later than 5pm. By 4:00 pm I had heard nothing and headed over because of the distance I live plus traffic. I arrived at 4:35pm and was told he had just been taken into his procedure….. What!!! My little dog was sitting in a cage all day with No food or water! He is going to be dehydrated and maybe hypoglycemic by then. Absolutely No communication whatsoever!!! The complete lack of mutual respect is unacceptable! At 6:00pm the procedure was completed and personnel handed him to me wet, bleeding from his mouth because of the multiple extractions and he could not even stand, walk, or sit up because he had just come out of anesthesia. He was in extreme pain all night, unstable, and bleeding from his mouth. I have Never had such a horrific experience! Not to mentioned the attitude the staff has….. the sour look on everyone’s face and the inability to utter any pleasantries or polite greeting. They act like they are doing you a favor. Well it is a hard NO! I will speak my truth and let everyone know to Beware!!! There are too many other pet clinics that will gladly be polite and it is pathetic I even have to mention this…. It should be automatic to be cordial but here it is Not.
**** This was Not Agatha Rose’s experience it was Teddy Boo!!! He now has Bilateral maxillary fistulas caused by the extractions. Also, prior to this he had No coughing and had Not been diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. Pet Parents BEWARE!!! Do Not fall for excuses and deflection followed by a dash of gaslighting!

This clinic appears to have a pattern of “firing” clients, something that is easy to verify by reading through their one-star reviews and the clinic’s responses. It is unusual for any business to have such a large number of former clients, as well as rescue organizations, reporting that they were dismissed or refused assistance.

At some point, it is worth asking: what is the common denominator? When so many clients share similar experiences, it suggests deeper issues with management, communication, and customer relations.

Veterinary visits are often emotional and stressful. Pet owners are rarely bringing their animals in under happy circumstances. Compassion, patience, and professionalism are essential in these situations. Unfortunately, my experience and the experiences of many others suggest that difficult conversations and upset clients are not handled well here.

Constructive feedback should be viewed as an opportunity for improvement rather than something to be dismissed. Clients deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported, especially when it comes to the care of their pets. Put your guns down. If you can’t de-escalate a situation, consider other career paths. It seems that most bad reviews were hoping for a resolution and the owners are looking for conflict. It’s truly sad.
