Planned Parenthood - Northville Health Center

Lisa was wonderful to work with and she inserted my Copper Paragard IUD just last week! It wasn't that painful. The tool they use to hold your cervix isn't too sharp, so you will experience mild bleeding after insertion. They do offer lidocaine injections to make it less painful but it is $150 and insurance does not cover that. I didn't opt for any of the injections and was fine! I had a really great experience here. The front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The waiting room and the entire office were very clean and had such a calm atmosphere. It is honestly one of the nicest medical offices I have been to.

The nurses were amazing. They were compassionate, listened to my concerns, and made me feel comfortable during my visit. Before my pelvic exam, I told my nurse practitioner that I usually feel uncomfortable during those exams, and her first response was, “How can I help you feel more comfortable?” That meant so much to me. It made me feel heard, respected, and truly cared for.

Incredible staff all around! Super helpful and kind and attentive.
I usually struggle with getting my blood taken, and Myriam was so kind and helpful. Best blood draw experience of my life 10/10
