I have been learning the piano for nine months now. (I am the mother of an 11 old son!) I am so grateful for the wonderful learning opportunities that Overture School of Music has given me this year.I am grateful that Rebecca kept me engaged from the first lesson and greatly assisted me in continuing to learn music.The faculty is passionate about music education and provides personalized lessons for each student.Taking piano lessons was the best decision I have made all year. I look forward to continuing to learn and enjoy music in depth.

I was employed as a piano and violin teacher at the Overture School for one year before moving because of school-related reasons and I could not have had a more positive experience there. Rebecca does an incredible job at respecting the time and needs of both the teachers and families involved! Saying this from experience working at other studios, scheduling lessons and makeups can be extremely time consuming, but Rebecca made sure to do all communication possible for us. I would highly recommend working there if you are a graduate music student or someone with a busy schedule. For families searching, the teachers are all at a uniquely high professional level, recitals are organized well, and scheduling is great. Absolutely choose Overture School for your child's music lessons!

hello - Both of my children studied piano with Ms. Lo for ~5 years and I'd like to share my perspective as a parent who is also a music teacher - for the past 10 years i have been faculty at Rice University, teaching required undergraduate courses in music theory [scales, harmony, improvisation, sight-reading, etc]. Ms. Lo is a wonderful teacher for both enthusiastic and reluctant beginners.
