I was emotionally traumatized by the severe pain I had been experiencing and by feeling ignored at other hospitals. During previous visits elsewhere, I felt that my pain was not taken seriously and that I was treated unfairly and without compassion. It was an incredibly discouraging experience while I was already suffering physically and emotionally.
