I usually do my own everything but didn’t have the time or patience this week. Came in for a braid down for a wig and the braider did a decent job. The only issue is the vibe is very off and they are RUDE and lack customer service/peoples skills. Wouldn’t recommend spending YOUR money here. As you can see from previous comments this isn’t just one persons experience neither.
This is why black women as a whole is learning how to do everything themselves! Yall lack people’s skills and make people NOT want to deal with yall. Then they responding back being rude to reviews ? YALL BEEN WARNED.
Neat Pretty Braids is EXCEPTIONAL!! I have been going to this shop for 5 years and in my opinion this is the top braiding shop in Houston. I get stopped by people all the time and the phrase that I hear over and over again is “your braids are so NEAT & PRETTY”!! The pictures online speak for themselves so stop scrolling and BOOK TODAY! You won’t be disappointed in the quality of your braids!!

The braiders did an excellent job, which is worth 5 stars. I take away two stars because the owner told me that knotless braids weren't going to look right because my hair was fine (not thick). Moreover, she kept arguing loudly on her phone whenever she came to the shop (someone named Mustafa apparently stole money from her and the person with whom she spoke was trying to mediate the issue). I booked small braids and ended up with extra small--they looked beautiful, but I didn't ask for that size.
