“My son walked out of his first lesson with Brian & was smiling ear to ear. He learned enough to show us some technique the same night. A month in and he has made so much progress. Highly recommend!“

Overture School of Music Musical Instruments And Teachers

“I was employed as a piano and violin teacher at the Overture School before moving because of school, and I could not have had a more positive experience there. Rebecca does an incredible job at respecting the time and needs of both the teachers and families involved! From my experience working at other studios, scheduling lessons and makeups can be extremely time consuming, but Rebecca made sure to do all communication possible for us. I would highly recommend working there if you are a graduate music student or someone with a busy schedule! For families searching: the teachers are all at a uniquely high professional level, recitals are organized well, and scheduling is great. Absolutely choose Overture School for your child's music lessons!“

“I trained my voice with Kent for several months until COVID hit. He helped me to readjust singing position of my lips and tongue as well as gave me effective exercises to work on outside of his classroom. I relearned how to sing. He is a very thorough and attentive teacher, willing to listen and explain things at length. I plan to return to my lessons with Kent as soon as life goes back to normal after the COVID scare passes. I absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to sing correctly or solve problems with existing technique.“

“My family is hooked on this place!! My daughter first started coming to Cai Circus aerial arts lessons, starting with the silks, almost two years ago. She had previously tried dance and gymnastics, but never really got into either - and we were also hesitant to put her into a super competitive gymnastics program. The aerial arts are really the first athletic activity besides swimming that our daughter has thoroughly enjoyed! In fact, within just a few months of aerial lessons, she was able to perform an aerial routine at her birthday party, which was hosted at Future Stars of Houston - complete with a circus theme! She now takes both trapeze and silks and is advancing really well. It's amazing to see what she can do! Cai (Cai Circus) and her coaching team are all incredibly experienced, professional, and very friendly. We've also put our daughter in some spring break camps, including a neat circus choreography camp that my daughter just couldn't get enough of!She also has started taking piano lessons at Future Stars with Lori, who is super talented and sweet; she also accommodates my daughter's high energy really well. I've also just started taking violin lessons with Misty! This venue also hosts a variety of performances that we've enjoyed, including aerial arts performances. Also, the owners are incredibly sweet and very welcoming; everyone treats us as family. It feels like we are part of this incredibly creative community with unlimited opportunities to try out different arts and activities. Future Stars of Houston are really a gem and we are so lucky to have them!“
