My husband and I received an errant notice of a tax fee from the IRS, and called the IRS over 2 dozen times trying to understand what steps to take in order to remedy the error. Time after time we hit dead ends were were disconnected from the call. We scheduled a consultation call with Erin at Mitchell Tax, and after discussing the situation we had a better understanding of the steps required to fix the issue, and felt assured that we had a path forward. I have not spoken to any Mitchell lawyer yet but my early opinion is favourable. The company made it easy for me to set up a free consultation on-line and then sent "friendly reminders" so that I wouldn't forget. What this will lead to remains to be seen. But the fact that they have already sought my first impressions is, again, encouraging.
