Please do not get your hopes up on a special pup! Even if your application is approved, they will give the dog to another family the day before you meet them! And then they will try to offer you another dog. This is heartbreaking and unprofessional. They also don’t communicate if other families decide they are interested or ask you anything at all!

I used to get notes from h s r to pick up a puppy in the College Station to bring to HSR., but they stopped. Does HSR still exist?

Our family has adopted four miniature schnauzers from Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston! The organization is wonderful to work with and very professional. They care about the dogs they receive and work hard to find a perfect furever home for each dog. Highly recommend this rescue organization!

I adopted two beautiful boys from MSRH. By far the kindest, most compassionate group of people who really adore this breed. This is my 2nd time adopting from this group and I personally would not work with any other schnauzer group in the Houston area. They are the OG and still the best

Spoke with June since the beginning and this rescue is very caring about the schnauzers and work hard to make sure these pups find good homes. If you get denied i am sure there is a good reason and i love that they don't just approve anyone. I thank this rescue for all that they do.

Last weekend, we adopted our Trixie through MSRH and are thrilled. Trixie was thoughtfully fosters by Jay and came to us a happy, healthy girl. Trixie is a blessing to us and our senior Schnauzer girl, Sophie.
